Cancer Care Missions Night!

Join us tonight for our monthly Missions night at 6pm.  Support and fellowship with one another while we work on projects for others in and around our community who are dealing with cancer.  I hope to see you there!

Mr. John Landers

Sweet sweet Mr. John Landers has gone to be with our Lord.  He and his wife Betty helped get the Cancer Care Ministry started with their faithful attendance and insight.  I loved listening to John talk so passionately about eating a natural healthy diet to combat cancer.  John gave Jim and I friendship, encouragement and advice that we will cherish always.  I did not know John before Cancer Care started in May 2012 and I am so grateful to have had the 8 months I had to get to know him.  His life, love and friendship have touched my heart and I feel like I've known him forever.  John will be greatly missed, by Jim and I, the Cancer Care family and everyone who knows him.  I thank God for blessing me with such friends as John and Betty Landers.  Please continue to remember Betty, their sons, and the rest of their family in prayer.

Prayer Request

Please pray with us for our dear friends John and Betty Landers.  John is in the hospital and has been put on Hospice care.  John and Betty have been with us since the start of this ministry and are so dear to our hearts.  The family has asked that no phone calls be made to the hospital room and are only accepting 2 visitors at a time.  I will update with any information that I recieve.  Pray for John, Betty and their family and friends.

1st Cancer Care of 2013!

I hope you all are as excited as we are that tomorrow night is our first Cancer Care of 2013!!!!  Come with any ideas and suggestions on how you would like our time together to be....do you want speakers? more time for talking/sharing/supporting?  arts? crafts?  We want to support everyone's needs so tell us what your needs are!  I can't wait to see you there!
